::(Review 1 of 2): I stumbled upon Amelia Sposa through Pinterest where I was enchanted with the look of their Celeste dress. I then went to their website and found a ton of different types and materials of dresses. Like any sane person would, I was skeptical at first because a) this company doesn’t have a physical presence in stores/boutiques anywhere in the world and b) their price point is in the same range as other established brands such as Oleg Cassini, Sophia Tolli, Mori Lee, Essence, Alure and a few others so why the heck would I, or anyone else, would buy a dress that I’ve never tried on before, right?! Keeping in mind a few different styles from Amelia Sposa that I liked, I went to a dozen different bridal stores and tried on more than two dozen dresses. From this, I was able to validate which style, material and look I like the best. I was torn between a dress from Mori Lee and a much similar style from Amelia Sposa, called Emilia. From there I read every single review that Amelia Sposa had on their website as well as other blogs that I found through a Google search. All of them were glaring with positive experience and satisfied customer. I asked Christina de Rossi to get me in touch with a real customer of theirs who purchased the Amelia dress as a reference. She cooperated and provided me with the contact information. Unfortunately, I never heard back from the lady. To be honest the reason why I went with Amelia Sposa is because they allowed “custom-made option” where you tell them your measurements (you can get this done for $10 at a local dry cleaner) and they’ll use those specific measurements to build the dress, but of course all sales are final for this option. In theory, this would save me a few hundred dollars on tailor fees. I went ahead and clicked the purchase button and my dress was enroute 8 weeks later and it arrived about a week after that. The purchasing process was rather painless: they send the contract over and once you sign it they provide an email with routing information and you’ll get an electronic receipt soon after the order has been processed (within 24 hours). You probably get a phone call from your bank checking to see if this wasn’t a fraudulent purchase. (My review is too lengthy for Google review so I will post a .jpg photo of the entire review).
