  Lovely to walk in during the warmer seasons. It is quite small so it's easy to fit in and the gardens are open until 20 in the summer. If you are with kids the take notice that there is a playground in one of the farther corners. You can have a great picnic there with the kids. Also - if you go with kids, then the greenhouse could be worth a visit - there are turtles, parrots, insect eating plants and other things to catch the attention of the kids. Rose garden is in high bloom in July and August. The peonies are also a sight to see and smell in June-July (well the blooming time really depends on the year and how warm it is).

  Tartu Ülikooli botaanikaaed on alati väga tore koht, eriti ilus on õues kevadel ja varasuvel. Palmihoones on lisaks troopikataimedele ka tiigid kalade ja kilpkonnadega - laste jaoks on see vaatamisväärsus number üks.

  Quite an impressive collection of flora. If you have some extra time to spent or are just interested in flora, you should go.
